Planting Instructions:

For best results, direct sow seeds outdoors after the danger of frost has passed, as nasturtiums dislike root disturbance. Soak seeds for 4–6 hours before planting to speed up germination. Sow seeds ½ inch deep and space 10–12 inches apart for mounding varieties, or 12–18 inches apart for trailing types. Keep soil moist during germination (7–12 days). Water regularly once established, but avoid over-fertilizing, which can reduce flowering.

Warning:

Nasturtiums are generally very safe and edible, but individuals with plant sensitivities should introduce them gradually. As with any edible flower, wash thoroughly before consuming. May cause mild digestive upset in pets if eaten in large amounts.
